The CARE Course (Comprehensive Approach to Rural Emergencies) is a traveling rural program for physicians, nurses, and pre-hospital
providers. This two-day program provides interactive hands-on learning in a fun, warm and supportive inter-professional environment.
Medical, trauma, obstetric and paediatric emergency management are featured. Appropriate to the realities of rural practice, this
small group program supports the teamwork and skills enhancement needed to provide rural emergency care.

The CARE Course is accredited for:
51 Mainpro+ credits for family physicians (3 credits per hour)
14 EMALB credits for pre-hospital care providers
17 Quality Assurance and/or Professional Development credits for Nurses and NPs
